To date Animalkind Inc. has paid in part or FULL for over 5,500 animals of low income families (mostly dogs) to be spayed/neutered. Of the dogs we have assisted, about half are Pit Bull or Pit Bull mixes. Shepard's, labs, boxers, huskies, dobermans, chows and rottweilers make up about 20%. Of the remaining 30% about half of those are Large mixed breeds - not of a particular breed, just Heinz 57s. This means that Animalkind Inc has prevented hundreds of thousands of puppies/kittens from being born.
Since our first day in 2009 we have Sought out those families that need our assistance. We distribute cards, fliers and we Facebook. However the most effective is our Community outreach. We go into the community to spread the word to those that otherwise might Not have phones or computers. Animalkind Inc. we believe it's about the family and the pets NOT just the finances. There is NEVER a set CO PAY- each family pays whatever "they can afford". At Animalkind Inc we use compassion and never judge those that need our help.
If you are breeding another animal in your home, or are planning to, you do not qualify for our clinics.
If you can afford to purchase your pet from a breeder, it is assumed that you can afford to have it spayed or neutered.
We are trying to reach high-risk animals, such as:
• Dogs who have roaming tendencies,
• Dogs who live in areas without containment,
• Animals in homes with other unaltered pets, or
• Any animal in a situation where it could breed.
Funding is always limited and we want to make sure the programs are there for those who truly need it. If your animal qualifies based on the information above, feel free to fill out the application. The response may be delayed due to the number of applications received but we will get qualifying pets in as soon as we can!
AnimalKind, Inc. is a 501 c 3 that offers financial assistance to low income families with pets that need to be spayed or neutered.
